Burt Street Heritage Precinct Restoration

Royalties for Regions is providing the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder $3.15 million to restore Burt Street in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, one of WA's most important cultural heritage precincts and intact gold rush era streetscapes.

The Burt Street Heritage precinct project is refurbishing historic buildings along Burt Street between Hamilton and Lane Streets, including:

  • verandahs
  • facades
  • parapets.

Burt Street Heritage Precinct provides a unique window into the wonderful heritage of the Goldfields. It comprises a number of places entered in the State Heritage Register, including the Boulder Town Hall, and many others included in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder heritage list.
