The Growing our South - Southern Investment Initiative is a five-year $600 million Royalties for Regions program to implement major infrastructure and community projects in the Peel, Wheatbelt, South-West and Great Southern regions.

The Growing our South initiative ensures WA's nine regions have similar access to social and economic development funds through Royalties for Regions as it aligns with:

 

14 priority projects have been identified to receive funding from the first allocation of $26.9 million. The priority projects have been chosen by the Southern Investment Initiative Advisory Group, made up of the four Regional Development Commission Chairs.
